1. Acceptance of terms

By downloading, installing, or using Easy Recovery (“the App”), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

2. Description of service

Easy Recovery is an Android utility designed to help users locate and recover photos, videos, documents, and other files that may still be present on their device storage. The App also includes tools for removing duplicate photos and clearing junk files such as thumbnail caches and temporary data.

3. Permissions and device access

To function, the App requires permission to access files and media on your device. You are responsible for granting these permissions. We use storage access solely to:

• Scan device storage for recoverable files.
• Restore selected files to a destination folder on your device.
• Identify duplicate photos and move unneeded copies to the system trash.
• Find and present junk files for your review before deletion.

We do not use storage access for any unrelated purpose.

4. Important recovery limitations

Easy Recovery can only restore files that are still present on your device. It cannot recover files that have been overwritten, securely erased, lost due to a factory reset, or deleted from encrypted or inaccessible partitions. We do not guarantee that any particular file can be recovered.

Always back up important data regularly. The App is provided as a recovery aid, not a replacement for a proper backup strategy.

5. Advertising

The App is free to use and is supported by advertising served through Google AdMob. By using the App, you acknowledge that ads may be displayed and that Google may process certain device data in accordance with its own policies. You can opt out of personalized ads through your device settings.

6. Acceptable use

You agree to use the App only for lawful purposes and in compliance with these terms. You may not:

• Use the App to recover files you do not own or have no right to access.
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or tamper with the App.
• Use the App to distribute malware or interfere with other users’ devices.
• Remove or alter any copyright or proprietary notices.

7. Intellectual property

Easy Recovery, its logo, name, and all related content are owned by us or our licensors. These Terms do not grant you any license to use our trademarks or branding without prior written permission.

8. Disclaimer of warranties

The App is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the App will be error-free, uninterrupted, or suitable for your specific needs.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of the App, including but not limited to data loss or inability to recover files.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

11. Governing law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which the App publisher is established, without regard to conflict of law principles.
